Not being sold to third parties, outside of the approved use cases
Not being used or transferred for purposes that are unrelated to the item's core functionality
Not being used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes

What data we collect

SimpleAdBlocker collects no personal data whatsoever. We do not log, transmit, or store any information about you, your browsing history, or the websites you visit.

Local storage only

The only data stored by this extension is your four toggle preferences (on/off). These are saved locally in your browser using chrome.storage.sync, which may sync to your signed-in Google account (for convenience) but is never accessed by us.

Network requests

SimpleAdBlocker makes no outbound network requests of its own. It only uses Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest API to silently block requests to known ad networks — no data is sent anywhere in that process.

storage — save your toggle settings locally
declarativeNetRequest — block ad-network requests using browser-native rules
Host access (*://*.youtube.com/*, *://*/*) — required to apply ad-blocking rules and inject YouTube-specific CSS

Third-party services

We use no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking services.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be bundled with the extension update and reflected on our Chrome Web Store listing.
